This text aims to present an emancipatory curriculum practice, that helps in the fabric of cognitive and social justice, which took place in a public school of the State of Rio de Janeiro, which had as its point of tension the issue of gender behavior. A qualitative research from the participant observation was made by the theoretical / methodological reference the everyday studies and evidentiary paradigm of Carlo Ginzburg, in relation to the discussion of gender behaviors were used Foucault and Louro. For the discussion on the concept of conservatism we had as base the Thompson reflection that breaks with the orthodox Marxist tradition putting in opposition to the base and the superstructure. In the current conservative context of Brazilian society such discussions are extremely relevant. In conclusion, we believe that the struggle for curriculum policies that defend the right to the differences can’t be reduced to inclusion policies that do not favor all differences.
