The aim of this study is to analyze the production of a group of teachers, students in a University Extension Course for Teaching Practices in Brazilian Basic Education, whilst they develop and employ technological resources in their classrooms activities. This course is linked to the Professional Master's Program for Teaching Practices in Basic Education, offered by the Metropolitan University of Santos (UNIMES). The adopted methodology was an active qualitative research, used on this study case to present the effectiveness of using mobile devices connected to the internet as stimulation in learning and teaching processes. Based in theoretical references as Cruz (2018a, 2018b); Chizzotti (2000); Silva (2016); Zabala (2010); Moreira (2012); Freire (1996); Reis (2017), Gomes (2005); Almeida (2006); Lévy (2007) e Schön (1992) the digital tools, practices and actions that promote learning were chosen. This study showed that the informations obtained by the University Extension Course can become object of research in order to improve teaching in the University, proving that teaching research and extension go hand in hand.
