Globalization and neoliberal hegemony focus on the creation of strategies aimed at governing populations as the new state configurations. This is especially true when we present the teacher's education, since it is responsible for the new generations. In this context, this work examined the discursive regimes present in the curriculum of the Degree in Physical Education, which produce curriculum identity, teacher identity and teacher’s pedagogical practice identity. We conducted narrative interviews with teachers in action. We analyze the empirical material produced from the notion of governmentality, formulated by Michel Foucault. The results indicate that the curriculum device does not provide conditions for the teachers to realize that they are formed by many discursive orders and consolidates ways of thinking and doing the teaching in Physical Education that favors neoliberal governmentality.
