The academic program of the Master in Environmental Education of the Autonomous University of Mexico City (UACM), aims to contribute to the formation of environmental educators with a deep humanist, critical and social sense, with which they participate in the construction of alternatives to face the environmental problems that are lived in different points of Mexico City and the country in general. This paper analyzes the types of existing pedagogical practices related to the environment, that have been developed by the graduates of this academic program, in order to know what actions to take, where they were developed, what segment of the population was targeted, and what have been the levels of incidence in the social groups where they focus their educational work. The document offers an overview that allows to know and analyze how the training of environmental educators in the UACM, makes possible the concretion of pedagogical actions that contribute to improve the environmental conditions at local, regional and national level; at the same time it shows some traits about how the graduates lived their formative process, what stands out of the same and how it has enabled them or not, for the design and execution of pedagogical practices at personal, social and institutional level in the field of environmental education (EA).
