TRANCOSO, Joelma dos Santos Rocha; LUCAS, Juliana Melo Rodrigues y PINTO, Antonio Henrique. TEACHER TRAINING: (re)constructing meanings and practices in the education for ethnic-racial relations. Revista Teias [online]. 2022, vol.23, n.71, pp.113-128. Epub 28-Feb-2023. ISSN 1982-0305. https://doi.org/10.12957/teias.2022.70211.
This article is about the nuances of the teachers' formative movement conceived by interculturality in a dialogic perspective. Its objective is to understand the production of meanings and developments in the classroom context of teachers completing the course Education for Ethnic-Racial Relations in the Municipal Education Network of Serra: promoting diversity at school aimed at valuing differences justified by the laws 10.639/03 and 11.645/08 and based on a critical decolonial curriculum. The methodological course chosen is in line with the theoretical foundation, as it is a research with a qualitative approach of the participant type, where the researchers were inserted and operative in the training actions. The analysis was carried out through critical-reflective discussion, comprising the dialogic relationship of the research based on Freire (2016). The results demonstrate the importance of training that bets on educators as active subjects in the process. In the classroom context, the power of these professionals as transforming agents was verified, which foster the personal and social development of children/students, from a sociocultural perspective.
