The present study aimed to investigate how students from a public school located in Angra dos Reis - Rio de Janeiro (RJ), faced problems arising from mental health, more specifically from caring for adolescents who showed signs of anxiety and depression. Methodologically, the research approached the Studies in/of/with the daily life and used the narratives - imagery and discursive - produced from the actions of the Girassóis da Cleusa, since the images - paintings and photographs - are understood here as a form of avoiding the traps of written texts and their neutral and objective truths, which favors the expansion and complexity of the social environment, as they reveal other forms of knowledge - emotions, feelings, facts - that scientific language cannot express.
