This article aims to develop an idea, before embryonic, because it was written in the form of an expanded abstract from the metaphor of redes3 for the XI Seminário Internacional as redes educativas e as tecnologias – docentes na resistência e na criação4, an event popularly called Redes. The relationship established between the metaphor of redes and the event Redes (2022) justified the play on words that entitled the aforementioned expanded abstract: “Redes in the Redes: entangling metaphors for teacher formation” and which, now, continues to intertwine in the lines of the present text. The essence of the first writing remains and gains new contours in this article, awakening the understanding of teacher formation processes through metaphorical bias, entering the field of narratives and collaborating for semantic constructions in the educational area. Therefore, entangled in the theoretical threads of Josso, Gatti, Nóvoa, Pinheiro, Fontoura, Huberman and Marcelo, this narrative intends to resume and continue the metaphorical study already started, in addition to inspiring and generating new connections about the processes of teacher formation.
