The article discusses a process of filming-learning from a documentary cinema workshop concept focused on the school context, in which the clerk operates the documentary-cartographic coupling. Cartography as a doing and a relational practice happens by transforming the real, while at the same time what is accessed is a real one in becoming, always on the run. Cartography itself is thus constituted, not representing or reproducing a supposedly pre-existing real, but creating, constructing, and updating realities with make cartographic. The documentary-cartographer can still be a tangle of connecting trajectories in play and negotiation, a floating position of the documentary-cartographer character traversed by three dimensions of performance: learning, research and cinema; all three co-implicated in this documentary doing with the school.
