In this paper, I propose an interpretation of Arendt’s essay “The Crisis in Education” as thinking exercise. Thus, the problems, arguments and concepts of the essay’s four sections will be examined as constitutive of a argumentative movement, whose starting point are particular aspects of a crisis in education towards their general origins and more deep, due to Modernity’s crisis. Finally, I will make some more general considerations about the form of the essay in Hannah Arendt.
