This work aimed to develop a didactic sequence for teaching the theme "Seasons", apropiate to provide students with an overview of the content involved and the association between scientific knowledge and daily life, in an attempt to crea te a knowledge that is significantly anchored in the students cognitive structures. In order to reach the students' individualitites, many methods were used in the develop ment of educational activities, such as brainstorming, drama, play, search, questio ning, video, among others. The results indicated that the didactic sequence favored the development of teaching and learning processes. The students' productions also revealed that the activities have different levels of significance.
