This article analizes the concepts coloniality of power and alterity in the policies of higher education in Colombia, 1992-2018. The use of the documentary research metod and critical discourse analizes that many issues policies of high education in Colombia have the intention of omogenizing social classes and ending otherness in the country. The article concludes by saying that the politics of higher education in Colombia, rather than promoting the social mobilization of knowledge, is becoming a barracks of the nobility that reproduces fields of struggle between social classes.
