This article analyses the pedagogical use of media resources, especially, in the filming language in foreign language classrooms. Based on the theoretical framework of Cultural Studies, an interpretative analysis is made of the film “Spanglish” in order to widen the reflection on the cultural-linguistic, historical, social and political aspects in the teaching of English as a foreign language.
