BRITO, Antonia Edna. RESONANCES OF AUTOBIOGRAPHICAL NARRATIVES IN THE CONTINUING EDUCATION OF TEACHERS. Práx. Educ. [online]. 2021, vol.17, n.44, pp.282-298. Epub 10-Jun-2022. ISSN 2178-2679. https://doi.org/10.22481/praxisedu.v17i44.8026.
This study addresses the narratives in the continuing education of teachers from the early years of elementary school in order to analyze their resonances in the processes of self-knowledge, self-education and understanding of the objective and subjective conditions of this education and teaching practice. It assumes that the teachers and their training are important, but advocates that the contributions and effects of training processes need to be analyzed considering their materiality and the reality of teaching and learning practices in the Brazilian educational context. Presents results of research developed at the Center for Studies and Research on Teacher Education and Teacher Professionalization in Pedagogy, embodied in the autobiographical approach. It concludes that narratives, as research devices, generate forms of resistance and understanding of the dynamics of continuing teacher education.
