This text is part of a qualitative doctoral research, based on a documentary study that aims to demarcate the historical and legal constitution of the process of inclusion of children with disabilities in Early Childhood Education in the Municipal Education Network of Campo Grande, MS. We are analyzing the implications for teacher training in inclusive spaces. This idea is theoretically supported by Veiga (2009), Bueno (2006), Glat and Pletsch (2004), among others, to discuss the relationship between inclusion and teacher education. Results show that the process of inclusion of children with disabilities in the city of Campo Grande, MS, took place very recently and the training that Early Childhood Education teachers have received to work with children with disabilities is still an action under construction. The recent regulation by the public power shows that the moment is still of structuring, with the Special Education modality, at the heart of this action, also being structured.
