The discipline of Art Teaching Practice takes the artistic activity of a student as a source of teaching reflection. This leads to the following questions: can the artistic activity help the teaching practice in classroom? Does the teaching practice influence the creation process? In this paper, artistic and teaching memories and practice of a group of teachers from basic education have been analyzed as an attempt to elucidate these issues. This analysis reveal the ways constructed by the teachers.
