This is qualitative research outlining an action-research, that involved the accomplishment of a course named Artexpansões, to provide learners grounded knowledge in visual arts in which artistic techniques were adopted aiming to stimulate the learners’ creativity. For data production, painting and collage were used. The learner’s products unanimously considered creative by the specialists were analyzed. As a result, the specialists stressed elements that indicate creativity in the distinct compositions. The analyses performed in this study confirm that the products of painting and collage created by these learners enable creativity expression.
