The evaluative practices are essential to understand the organization of pedagogical work. In this article, we aim to present the most recurrent evaluation instruments used by teachers in the early years of elementary school in the municipal education network of a city in the interior of São Paulo State, assuming their intentionality and use as essential part of the analysis of their proximity or distance from more formative processes. To this end, a questionnaire with open-ended questions was used as a data collection tool, applied virtually. The results indicate observation, activities and tests as the most frequently used instruments. The activities and observations were more related to interactive regulation, while the test focused on measuring learning at the end of periods.
