Resumen
ROMERO PLANA, Virginia. Ink and mirrors: autoethnography as a feminist bet. Rev. Estud. Fem. [online]. 2024, vol.32, n.1, e90813. Epub 01-Ene-2024. ISSN 1806-9584. https://doi.org/10.1590/1806-9584-2024v32n190813.
The paper presents an analysis of the concerns, resistances, and (intra)personal contributions that feminist autoethnographies collect to their credit from and for the work of the different feminisms. Based on an integrative and systematized review of the scientific production of women of the last two decades, the choice of autoethnography is analyzed as a means of deep exploration of their experiences of being, feeling, thinking, and doing as women from feminist criticism, addressing topics of interest and their questions, the construction of self-analytical views, the heritage of feminist ethnography and the inclusion of new positions from and towards feminisms. Autoethnography is configured as a tool for empowerment, political agency, solidarity, healing, conciliation, and connection with current feminist challenges. This work reflects and contributes to highlighting autoethnography as a feminist bet.
