In view of the contemporary educational scenario in Brazil this article, of a reflective theoretical nature, seeks to problematize the different spheres of exclusion in Higher Education, emphasizing the possibilities of action/ transformation in this context. Based on the Historical-Cultural Theory, the article discusses the specificities of the inclusion and exclusion processes that are established in Higher Education and reflects on the teaching work, with a view to the consolidation of educational environments that are effectively inclusive in which it is possible to recognize, value and promote the presence, participation and learning of each student.
