The paper discusses the transformation of educational-learning processes in view of the proposals of the "scientific pedagogy". In particular,-sticks to the proposals for the teaching of mathematics in primary school in the 1930s. Takes as reference the work of Lourenço Filho titled Introduction to the New School. Uses as theoretical and methodological contributions of instrumental Cultural History. Is guided by the goal of historicizing the passage of simple / complex for easy / difficult dyad.
