A descriptive and correlational study based on the performance obtained by the municipalities of Espírito Santo in three indicators of educational outcomes: Development Index of Basic Education - Ideb -, Brazilian Education Opportunities Index - Ioeb - and School Development Indicator - IDE. As a result, it was found that, although there is a statistically significant correlation between them, there are situations in which the same municipality can obtain different educational results, depending on the choice of the analyzed indicator. With this, it is pointed out the importance of carrying out a joint analysis of these indicators, considering their components, for a better reading of the educational reality in the State.
