The College institution, placed in a global reality wich has been in permanent transformations, arises as the scenary of new ways of discovering, facing the challenge of a social reconstruction. This would be the new commitment of evaluation if guided to the social and political opening. The text reports the first interferences that with in this concept resulted in the implementation of the performance evaluation in probatory internship at the Federal University of Paraná. Taken as a permanent and critical process, this evaluation instigates to the emerging of a necessary "evaluation culture".
