In this paper, we discuss the development of the science fiction approach in Science education. We are concerned to identify conceptual elements incorporated by students when faced with the science fiction approach in their development of scientific concepts. We use the movie "Jurassic Park" in this approach and found that the movie can be effective in the mediation of the fictional to the real.
