The objective of this article is to identify and analyze the academic studies published in the field of Education on the reform of EM that was promoted by Law 13.415/2017, and contribute to the production of the state of the art on this subject. A survey of scientific articles and theses and dissertations published and/or defended in the period between 2017 and 2020 was carried out. As a focus in the production on the EM reform, discussions on policies, curriculum, professional education and youth were observed as outstanding. . This production has a character of denunciation of the interests involved in the conception of the reform, mainly those of a global order, which propose an education at the service of capital, in addition to a strong criticism of the changes that are announced in the structure and functioning of the MS, with reflections on the training of youth, especially those who attend public school.
