This study aimed to investigate the subject of care, inherent and immanent to the relations of health subjects, based on theoretical research with practical implications. We use Merleau-Ponty’s philosophical framework, which analyzes the subject of knowledge in their mundane experience. From this perspective, it is normally assumed that the experience of the medical professional in their fields presents a unique space constituting an interchange of meanings. Language, as a starting point for understanding the relationship between the health care team of and equipment users represents, through communication, the possibility of offering man the chance to establish himself as an autonomous subject; and speech, at all times, provides the interaction between the self and the other, encouraging the meeting. Phenomenology, increasingly demonstrated in health studies, is an important tool for medical education, by presenting language as the meaning that inhabits the word, becoming a key element of clinical and institutional actions and promoting care production.
