This assay argues the evaluation, category that gained centrality in the educational reforms of the end of years 90 in Brazil, analyzing its paper in a school whose logic operates in accord with the logic of the capitalist society in which she is inserted. It presents and it argues the different conceptions of quality and evaluation in the relation with its objectives. The text considers one to rethink the evaluation in the school for all the involved citizens in the educative process - families, professors, managers - with the adhesion the new pertinent models with the collective construction of practical pertaining to school evaluative who walk of the selective and exculpatory evaluation for the formative evaluation that it promotes the human development and the social quality of the education of all and each child.
