This report aims to present the experience experienced through the development of a workshop on active methodologies, in order to contribute to the reflections on the theme in teacher education. The workshop was structured based on the methodology of problematization with the Maguerez arch (BORDENAVE; PEREIRA, 1989) and held with professors and undergraduate and graduate students, with the theme of active learning methodologies. As results, questions relevant to the difficulty of change and innovation in teaching strategies - learning are presented, focusing on the student's context, enabling improvements in the teacher's practice; the deficiency of initial and continued training of teachers and students focused on MAs and the relevance of the formative processes of teachers that enable critical and reflective moments of the daily teaching, reflecting on autonomy of choices about the use or not of The MA in their pedagogical practice, instigating and motivating them to participate in such processes as a form of teacher updating. Resulting in reflective, dialogical and interdisciplinary moments. Finally, we emphasize the need to rethink the offer of courses and training workshops as a way to improve teaching practices.
