Public educational policies have been configured as a new model of State regulation, vigorously expressed in large-scale evaluation and curriculum organization. Therefore, there is a form of macro-regulation that especially affects schools, where micro-regulations are also observed, characterized by the school agents’ actions. In this perspective, through theoretical studies and field research carried out in a municipal public school of basic education, in a inner city São Paulo state, in Brazil, this research work aims to analyze, in the face of wide evaluation scale called Prova Brasil, the micro-regulations present within the referred school unit in order to identify in which teachers’ and school managers’ actions they are present, how they occur, in which areas of activities and, finally, their reasons and their logics. The data analysis obtained through teacher’s and manager’s interview and through a focal group with teachers, allowed the identification of action strategies of teachers and managers, in the formal and informal plans, as well as the interests that boost these strategies, generating, in the long term, logics of action in everyday school life, which guide behavior at school, especially in curricular practices relation.
