From the analysis of snippets of Sense and reference, by Gottlob Frege, we intend to show the place that the author maintains for the aesthetics. In order to accomplish this task, we will shed lights on Frege’s distinction between poetic use and scientific use of language, on the basis of three concepts: idea (Vorstellung), sense (Sinn) and reference (Bedeutung).
