This article analyzes the process of inclusion of deaf students in public schools and their interactions with other students, interpreters and teachers. The methodology used in the research was the case study with the Field observation of 4 deaf students inside their classrooms and also in the moments of interval in two public schools in Campinas. From the observation, a quantitative analysis of the interactions of these students with other people in the school context was performed. The research concluded that, because He is the only deaf student in his/her classroom, the number of interactions of this student is clearly higher with the interpreter, followed by interactions with hearing students, in third place with teachers. Finally, fewer interactions were performed with other deaf classmates outside the classroom. The results revealed that the process of inclusion of deaf students in the observed schools restricts the possibilities of interaction in the school context, which may hinder the constitution of a positive self-image of these students.
