The context of assignments developed at a university is fraught with complexity, regardless of the area and, in this sense, it is urgent to be investigated, especially from the perspective of university professors, as in the present case. The objective of the study is to understand how university Physical Education teachers deal with their professional duties, with regard to teaching, research and administrative experiences. From the qualitative approach, 11 semi-structured interviews were conducted with professors from an undergraduate course in Physical Education at a public university, in addition to the analysis of their Lattes Curriculum. It was possible to conclude that the teachers are satisfied with their professional choices and seek to organize themselves to fulfill the various academic activities. However, problems such as high workload and lack of adequate infrastructure, among others, can generate difficulties in daily work.
