The present paper aims to analyze the penetration of the neoliberal and postmodern ideary in the Brazilian educational policy, introduced by the Brazilian State reform occurred in the 1990s, from the perspective of the Geography teacher from Brazilian State schools. In order to achieve that, by evidenciating the teachers’ practices, discourses and perceptions, we have decided to use a questionnaire as research instrument, which allowed the verification of such penetration thus changing the teachers’ conceptions.
