The aim of the article’s author is to reflect on the characteristics of the teacher’s image in times of the so-called ubiquitous computational relationship. Historically, it is observed that the teacher, in general, was identified as a figure of decisive authority for the student. But, does such identification of this image of the teacher prevail in the context of digital culture? Through the analysis of classic and con- temporary productions on this issue, it was possible to conclude that the teacher and students need to jointly re-signify their identities, especially in society whose access to all information can be done in any space and time.
