This study analyzes the factors that determine the quality of the relationship between a public institution and its graduates. This is a quantitative-descriptive study, whose data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling. The results show that graduates have a significantly positive perception of the quality of their relationship with their institution of origin, and that the quality of teaching services, the quality of support and administration services and the institutional image play a decisive, positive and important role directly on the quality of this relationship, while the quality of the physical environment showed no evidence of influence on this dimension.
