This article is based on a Master's thesys in Education on the understanding and development of the Salesian educational principles developed by Dom Bosco serving as a reference for teachers of St. Joseph Salesian School, Campinas Dom Bosco Vocational Centre (CPDB), SP. The objective of this paper is to present the methodological aspects of research and analysis on the teaching practice. From this, the article seeks to interpret the ways in which the Salesians are developed educational principles in the doings of teachers CPDB. This search allows to inquire about the methodological procedures used in order to reflect on the fidelity degree of the design and educational institution practice with the ideal proposed by founder Dom Bosco, in the nineteenth century Italy.
