The authors discuss the possibility that schools consider the samba schools as a model for their own transformation. In the past, the samba schools looked at the schools for prestige. Today, the direction should be reversed, with schools using the experience of the samba shoo/s to solve their current problems, molding and adjusting them to implement much needed changes in the Brazilian education.
