In this article we seek to reflect on the contributions of digital information and communication technologies in the process of constituting academic authorship, by identifying challenges in the writing process of undergraduate students on the way to contributing to the development of web curriculum. This research, using a quantitative method, was composed of a sample of 117 undergraduate students. The results show that digital information and communication technologies that can support the academic authorship process are those that value collaboration and co-ordination, allow the use of augmented reality and games to develop writing skills. In this way, the contributions coming from the relationship between digital information and communication technologies and academic authorship can be potentializing by web curriculum.
