REIKAVIESKI, Sandra Bernadete Pinto; SIMAO, Vera Lúcia e TOMIO, Daniela. The continuing education of teachers on the premises of Ecoformation and its implications in a school: challenges in pandemic times. Rev. Diálogo Educ. [online]. 2022, vol.22, n.72, pp.34-60. Faced with social, environmental, technological and economic issues arising from a world in constant transformation, as in these times, it is necessary to think of a school that considers humanization an inseparable element of education. In this sense, the objective of this article is to understand the implications of a course of continuing teacher education in a school in facing the pandemic, in line with the theoretical-methodological assumptions of “Ecoformation” and with the premises of an Education for the 21st century. For this, a path of research/continuing education that took place in a school in the multigrade field of the municipal public education system in Massaranduba-SC, involving its collective of five teachers, is socialized. The instruments used for data generation were a questionnaire, interview and testimony, and for analysis the MAXQDA software was used with the word cloud resource, using the content analysis method. The theoretical framework is based on Moraes (2010; 2015; 2018), Morin (2000; 2004), Nicolescu (1999), Torre (1997; 2005; 2009; 2019), among others. With the interpretations, it can be concluded that the main implications of in-service teacher training, aligned with the fundamentals of Ecoformation and the premises of Education for the 21st century, in facing the pandemic, consisted of the dimensions of the welcoming gaze, creativity, resilience, training criticism, motivation, cooperation and breaking paradigms, in addition to the possibility of transformation, sensitivity and connection, essential for the challenges presented.
