SILVA, Alex Sander da; MWEWA, Christian Muleka e CABRAL, Gladir da Silva. Narrativity, memory and experience: notes in afro-brazilian Stories. Rev. Elet. Educ. [online]. 2017, vol.11, n.2, pp.398-406. ISSN 1982-7199. https://doi.org/10.14244/198271992159.
This text exposes a theoretical-conceptual clipping of a broader study that, at its core, seeks to analyze the characteristics and pedagogical-formative potential of Afro-Brazilian narratives. It intends to understand the potential in the constitution of formative processes in education, in the perspective of an education for ethnic-racial relations. It is a theoretical-conceptual study that brings the narratives, memories and experiences of the Afro-Brazilian culture in the tales of a african-brazilian religious, Beatriz Moreira Costa (Mother Beata de Yemonjá). Thus, an issue that we highlight here is: what characteristics stand out in Afro-Brazilian narratives as pedagogical-formative potentialities from the perspective of critical theory?
