This article presents part of the production of materials for recording and divulging assessment results. These materials were produced during a study which investigated the development of the process of registering learning assessment, guided by the principles of training assessment in the basic education curriculum of a school in the municipal education network of Jaraguá do Sul, Santa Catarina. It emphasizes that the problem of linking learning assessment with teaching, and the forms of assessment records, based on certain criteria, can favor a more integrated practice of teaching and learning. This article demonstrates the need for simple and objective records of learning assessment, aimed at accompanying the teaching and learning process and divulging the results. It also offers some considerations on the bases of learning assessment, a fundamental content for enabling the teacher to see the assessment as a form of understanding the student’s cognitive processes, in order to regulate the learning process.
