This text analyzes the experience developed in a teacher education practicum held in the university, in a Portuguese language teaching undergraduate course. The text brings the teacher´s point of view, as well as the doctorate student´s point of view and the graduate student´s point of view based on the practice and the interactions that were observed. The analyzes are based on a dialogical conception of language, especially in the discursive language of Mikhail Bakhtin and the philosophy of Paulo Freire, the main theoretical references of the subject in question. The first item presents the objectives and strategies, according to the program and to the point of view of the teacher. The second item brings the main concepts studied in the course. The following items presents the doctorate and the graduate student reports. It is worth saying that the program, practices and analyses indicates literature as alternative path to education.
