This study aims to verify what the Brazilian Graduate Programs produced about the pedagogical practices of professionals working with socio-education between the years 2015 and 2019. From the production of the state of knowledge, the objective was to map and analyze the doctoral theses and master's dissertations of the Catalog of the Coordination of Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES), having as a cut out the works produced in the area of education. The analyzed production consists of a doctoral thesis and six master's dissertations, totaling seven academic documents. As a result, it was found that the aspects that constitute socio-education have been little explored by the academic community. The works signal the need for prior and continuous training for professionals working with socio-education, in order to opportunistize a space of (re)construction of knowledge and pedagogical activities.
