Nowadays we notice at the society that deficient people como across wihth some difficuties of access and locomotion in urban spaces, public places, and buildings. From these observations como up the interest by the suggested issue, and we elaborated the present study in which we verify places with public access such as, amphitheatre, library, gymnasium, class roons, among athers that don´t offer the accessibility to the deficient people. This work has the objective to identify some points that characterize the architectone barriers existents at F.C.T./UNESP of Presidente Prudente, elements that make harder the access and the locomotion of the deficient people to visit these places, showing in some way the unprepared of this Unit to receive this parcel of the population. The research based on the photographic registers of the enrironments that should be attend by the deficients, farther the watering places, staircases, restrooms and a considerable portion of the building pertaining to students III, place where the courses of physiotherapy and physical education are concentrate, courses that attend deficients people in sportive projects and at the ambulatory service. The pictures confronted with the rules of ABNT (Brazilian association of technique rules 1994) claim the lack of concern and ajustment to the necessities of na expressive portion of the users on the services available. We suggest the university follows the established rules assuring the fulfillment of the constitutional laws to all the human being and the right to live together in a social group with dignity.
