The first years of the 90s marked a milestone in the history of Colombia with the issuance of three norms that marked our future as a nation, in all areas, but particularly in education: the Political Constitution of Colombia, in 1991, which recognizes education as a public good and as a right; Law 30 of 1992 through which the higher education system is regulated and, the General Law of Education, in 1994. The latter installs the National Education Evaluation System that perpetually confines the educational system, the institutions and the subjects in their existence, happening and becoming, to be permanent prey to evaluation and its multiple strategies. This analytical exercise - descriptive and interpretive - resorts to the study of a documentary mass -theoretical and normative mainlyreferred to educational evaluation, with the perspective of showing what has happened with evaluation in Colombia, in the last six decades and, with it, addressing an analysis in the form of a historical ontology of the present, about what happens to us as subjects-objects of perpetual valuation; Consequently, it makes use of the Foucauldian toolbox that allows us to inquire about knowledge, the power that underlies it and the subjects that agency. This from the perspective of questioning and questioning its power and its truth in the face of what has been called pan-evaluative culture.
