This work aims to identify the potential and challenges of deaf people in remote classes at the IF Goiano, Campus Rio Verde - GO. This is a case study carried out with deaf students in the subject Cost Analysis and Price Formation, in the 3rd period of the Technical in Administration course. This research is justified, since the inclusion of deaf students is a topic of social relevance: access to education is a right of all citizens and the pandemic brought new challenges for those involved in the education of deaf students. The case study, based on bibliographical research, had direct observation and interview as a method of virtual data collection. Qualitative data analysis demonstrates that the inclusion of deaf students through Libras, with a bilingual teaching-learning approach, is the best alternative to adequately meet the specific needs of deaf education. Information technologies and the use of visual resources can also contribute to the teaching-learning process. Given the complexity and importance of the topic, it is recommended that the studies initiated in this research be continued and expanded to enhance their results.
