Sociocultural relations integrate school spaces, fostering the production and dissemination of instances such as identity, discourse, representation, action, among others. In this context, we direct our attention to school discursive practices with the aim of identifying manifestations related to the nature of science. In this paper, we set out to analyze the discourse of a Natural Science teachers’ group from public schools in a municipality in the Espirito Santo State, pointing out clues of possible crossings and ideologies in these. The corpus selected for this investigation involves written texts produced as answers to a questionnaire applied to 20 teachers. In our analyses, we point out a kind of interdiscursive network, in which the idea of neutral science proliferates, without ties to socioeconomic, ethical, political and cultural issues. These interdiscursive productions stem from ideological formations, which are oriented towards didactic purposes, crossing the discourses of agents of science teaching practices.
