The study intended to verify causes and consequences of school failure through the analysis of 1300 students, divided in three groups: those who never failed (R0), those who failed once (RI) and those who failed twice (RII). Students final grades in the first four years of graded schools well as their socio-economical and intelligence level were analysed through partial and multiple correlations, analysis of variance and the Tuckey test...
