The speakers reported educational experiments developed by black entities and groups aiming at: rescuing the History and cultural patterns of black people, trying out alternative teaching proposals, consciousness raising among school members in regard to the production and reproduction of race prejudice, as well as deepening the understanding of racial relations in Brazil. During the discussion, the concern about the actual incorporation of black culture into the regular curriculum was expressed.
