The paper reports a successful experience of continuing education, held in the form of an action research along the 200 public school teachers, most working in supplementary courses in 1st and 2nd grade. Their main results indicate the importance of starting such work with a deep reflection on the political dimension of the educational as well as to work in small study groups within the local schools where they teach the teachers. In concrete terms, the work could make for a year and a half, 23 groups weekly to discuss issues related to education. Beginning with the political-philosophical issues, through socio-historical approach to learning and ending with some methodological aspects, they arrived at the end of that time be free to continue showing their own. From a theoretical viewpoint, this paper presents a discussion of the role that the change in the representation of teachers on students, education, and he even play in the possible changes in their pedagogical practice.
