SALLES, Leila Maria Ferreira. The social representation of the adolescent and adolescence: a study in public schools. Cad. Pesqui. [online]. 1995, n.94, pp.25-33. ISSN 0100-1574.

A discussion among teachers, directors, students and student inspectors of the social representation of the adolescent and adolescence, in an attempt to perceive how this social representation is inserted into daily relationships in the school. The statements show that the various representation components interact around a nucleus or a central structure. The analysis show that there is a social representation structure of the adolescent and adolescence which is shared by all the segments analysed, but there is no consistency when attempting to apply these representations to specif persons.
